Brazenhead Irish Pub
5650 Tylersville Road, Mason 513-229-0809 www.thebrazenhead.com
Brazenhead offers a little bit of Ireland right here at home.
The ship theme - to honor the immigrants who brought Ireland's influence to America - prevails throughout the two-story building (three, if you count the pub in the basement).
With numerous rooms and alcoves for seating, two bars, the pub and an outdoor patio, Brazenhead is great for a couple of pints or for a full meal.
In addition to burgers and other American fare including salads and ribs, Brazenhead embraces its Irish heritage with menu items such as the Guinness-braised beef and potatoes ($14) and corned beef and cabbage ($13).
Live music on Friday and Saturday nights along with daily drink specials make Brazenhead even more of a destination for good fun and good eats.
To top off the meal, try a slice of Brazenhead's layered chocolate cake drizzled with chocolate sauce and a side of thick whipped cream ($5.50) or the homemade chocolate bread pudding ($5.50).
