Just minutes over the river in Kentucky, Mai Thai offers a variety of Thai dishes and sushi in the Northern Kentucky area. Located just off exit 180 of I-71/75, the restaurant is easy to find, too. Whether it's pad Thai or a California roll that you are after, the extensive menu at Mai Thai is sure to satisfy your craving. The menu is also available for take-out, so if you don't feel like making it a dine-in experience, call and place an order to go.
The sushi selection at Mai Thai ranges from the more traditional Philadelphia roll ($6) to the Mai Thai roll ($12). There are 33 options all together on the sushi menu - hand rolls, maki rolls and everything in between.
For those who don't love sushi, the menu also includes appetizers ($3-$5.95), soups ($3-$6.50), salads ($3.95-$7.95), noodles ($8.95-$12.95), curries ($9.50-$13.50) and a wide selection of entrees ($8.95-$8.25). In addition, Mai Thai has some fried rice selections, but these are anything but your typical rice. Your choice of beef, chicken, shrimp, pork, seafood, tofu or vegetable comes with either Thai fried rice, basil fried rice or pineapple fried rice ($8.95-$12.95).
HOURS: Open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 to 10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 to 10:30 p.m. Friday, and noon to 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
MENU SAMPLER
APPETIZER: Crab puff - cream cheese, crab meat and shrimp wrapped in spring roll skins ($5.95)
SUSHI: a handroll of unagi - grilled eel and cucumber served with a special sauce ($4.50)
ENTREE: Chicken basil - sliced chicken breast stir-fried in homemade basil sauce with carrots, onion, basil leaves, broccoli, mushrooms and bell peppers ($8.95)
