This Westwood restaurant offers authentic Thai cuisine and a sushi bar for those who want to dine in or take their meal home.
Located right off Glenway Avenue on Crookshank Road, it's an easy place to find.
The menu includes lunch and dinner portions. Lunch is served until 3 p.m. (except Sundays when no lunch is served). The lunch menu isn't as extensive as the dinner menu, but it still includes a great variety of meals taken from the dinner menu.
Aside from the usual curries and noodle and rice meals, Thai Taste has several house specials. These include seafood items such as ginger walleye ($14.95), basil duck ($13.95) and shrimp clay pot ($14.95).
In addition to the Thai and sushi menu, Thai Taste offers Chinese food and a children's menu. The Chinese selections include sesame chicken and General Tso's chicken (both $10.95), while the children's menu offers sweet and sour, sesame and popcorn chicken, each served with rice ($5.95).
HOURS: Open 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, and 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday (Westwood).

APPETIZER: Curry puffs - chicken, onion and potatoes in Thai herbs and curry powder inside wonton skins, fried ($1.50)
SOUP: Chicken coconut soup - chicken with mushrooms in a light coconut milk ($3.95)
CURRY: Yellow curry - potatoes, onions, pineapple and carrots with yellow curry powder in coconut milk ($10.95-$13.95)
