Green Papaya
CAITLIN BURCHILL | CIN WEEKLY CONTRIBUTOR

Green Papaya is hard to miss with its green exterior and striped awnings. The interior of the restaurant is very tranquil, with low-key colors and a fountain in the center, perfect for a quiet dining experience.
Every table and booth in the restaurant has a view of the sushi bar, where all the sushi is made fresh. The trendy touches inside the restaurant, such as the metal lights hanging above the sushi bar, keep everything looking new, fresh and clean.
Service here is incredibly friendly and fast. Employees greet you the moment you walk in the door, even if there is a wait for one of the dozen or so tables.
Green Papaya offers lunch specials known as "lunch boxes," which are traditional Thai cuisine (curries, rice dishes and noodles) or sushi served with miso soup, salad, appetizer, fruit and either vegetable fried rice or vegetable pad Thai ($9.95). Lunch box meals are dine-in only. Also on the menu are "happy meals," which include items such as Green Papaya steak ($12.95) and seafood madness ($15.95). And the restaurant now serves beer and wine.
